Health & Safety
Is there a nurse at camp?
During our youthcamps, we have a registered nurse, paramedic or doctor on site to take care of our campers’ medical needs.

Why do I have to fill out a medical form and meds dispensing form?
It is very important that the nurse, executive director and your child’s counselors know the health of your child. If there are any allergies, special needs, food issues or other health concerns, we need to know in order to be responsible in taking care of your child. The meds dispensing form is to ensure your child can have the medicines we have at camp if required. That is, to ensure your child has no allergies to what we have available at camp. It is recommended the medical forms arrive at camp 2 – 3 weeks before your child’s camping program begins.

How does the nurse know my child’s health status?
At registration time, each camper must see the nurse to review the medical form and to see if anything has changed in your child’s health over the past three weeks.
