Luther Village Fund …our lasting legacy
Message from the Bishop
Dear Friends,
I am encouraged by the board’s decision to create a long
termfinancial strategy for the camp. I would encourage you
to support the Luther Village Fund as it provides opportunities
for growth and stability in ministry, rejuvenates cabins and gathering spaces, as well as establishes new initiatives within
the camp.

I am especially excited about a new initiative with Lutheran
Urban Ministry. Your financial support will provide an
opportunity for inner city youth and families to enjoy an
inspiring view of God’sloving grace in an outdoor setting.

The Manitoba Northwestern Ontario Synod (MNO) considers
outdoor ministry and Luther Village a valuable ministry in
helping people grow closer to Christ. Working together and
with God, we can be a blessing to others. Make your donation
today and helpLuther Village continue to reach out in Christ’s
name.

In Christ,
Bishop Elaine Sauer

Message from the Executive Director
Hello Friends,
Over the past 17 years as Executive Director of Luther Village, I’ve seen many exciting developments at camp such as construction of an industrial kitchen, cabin, youth centre, water system, a sewer system/septic field, the addition of hydroelectric power and creative program opportunities. All these projects were made possible because of your incredible support and prayers…because you believe in the ministry of Luther Village!

We are now about to undertake the largest capital campaign in
the history of Luther Village and we come to you to ask for your
support. The Luther Village Fund will allow us to do many amazing things at camp so that we can improve our shared ministry to the Lutheran community and the general public near and far.

I am very excited about the potential of the Luther Village Fund
to make a noticeable and lasting impact at Luther Village, but we
need your support! Please prayerfully consider making a financial gift to this fund. Your generosity today as in the past, is greatly appreciated!

Peace,
Kim Scherger
Executive Director, Luther Village
